I love old, vintage and shabby. Give me a white picket fence & farmhouse with chickens, horses and grandchildren any day. I love to garden and watch things blossom. Nature is amazing all by itself. I love "old souls" who know the meaning of life and are willing to share it with you. Watching the waves crash against the beach is better than therapy. I wish I learned how to surf. But I will teach my grandchild. PS. I have integrated my etsy shop into this blog.

Vintage Royal Doulton Collectibles
My Vintage Royal Doulton Collectibles
I have been collecting Royal Doulton figurines for many years. What makes these smaller figurines so appealing? I would say there size. I still love the larger figurines, but the detail on the miniatures is amazing. They don't take up as much space. So, you can present more in your little china cabinet.

Her clothing illustrations of mob caps, straw bonnets for the girls and skeleton suits for the boys were adapted by Liberty of London as actual children's clothing. Bessie Pease Gutmann Antique Baby Print
What can I say about Bessie Pease Gutmann? She was an artist from the Victorian era. Born 1876 to 1960. I have collected her baby prints for many years. For 70 years Bessie, a beloved artist known as "the true delineator of child life." The antique print below is entitled "Popularity" circa 1950's by Ms Gutmann. This would be a great vintage touch to the baby's nursery.
