Biscuits and Gravy What a Way To Start The Morning Off

Biscuits and gravy. What a way to start the morning off. Coming from Yankee country I had never heard of this till I went to visit my brother in Tenn. Well I am not sure I could eat this everyday but I will say that it was amazing. On a cold morning with a hot cup of  Joe and you are ready to go plow the fields. I found this recipe from
http://bevcooks.com/2013/01/herbed-buttermilk-biscuits-with-sausage-gravy/she gives step by step instructions.  Enjoy it.

Leaves, Leaves, Leaves

Leaves, Leaves, and More Leaves.
Where do they all come from?  They look so pretty when they are still on the trees. Maple, Oak, Birch and Elm. Amazing colors, orange, browns, yellows and reds. Then "fall" comes and that is what they do....and they fall till the trees are bare.

Washington Irving, the author of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and "Rip Van Winkle" two of the great Halloween type stories of all time. Who doesn't want to sit with a bowl of pumpkin seeds or even normal popcorn and watch the headless horseman riding through town holding his head.

5,000 Pumpkins & Counting. Happy Halloween

This is the time of year that I miss living in New England. The fall is colorful and crisp. Full of pumpkins, leaves and corn stalks. You can smell the cinnamon brooms in every store that you walk into. This is a little clip of a great pumpkin patch in Croton on Hudson New York.  5,000 pumpkins were carved out. Enjoy.
